Sick-Care Examinations
Rapid attention to the early signs of illness can speed recovery and prevent minor problems from becoming major medical troubles. It is important that you contact PawSteps Veterinary Center as soon as your pet is not feeling his or her best. Your veterinary care team is always available to help with an ill animal. If an examination is needed, your pet will be seen at the PawSteps Veterinary Center just as soon as possible. Dr. Sawyer and his team are skilled at combining the history of your pet's problems with a thorough medical examination, resulting in sound recommendations for diagnostics and treatment. Often treatment can be started immediately. Other times, diagnostic procedures are required to in order to obtain the most accurate diagnosis before therapy is started. Many diagnostic procedures can be quickly performed at the veterinary care center; others are offered through referrals. Our goal is a rapid diagnosis leading to early treatment and a speedy recovery for your pet. If you are unsure of your pet's needs, we are happy to observe the animal during the day for signs of problems. If additional care is required, ill pets can be hospitalized during the day and overnight.
