Lexi is our one and only pet and has been with us since she was three months old. She was a tiny four pounds when she came to us and fit in the palms of our hands. She is approximately 11 pounds as a middle-aged adult, and spends much of her day sleeping on the back of the sofa and protecting her stuffed dog toy. She is a great dog for our family and is very protective of the kids, but is not usually too excited to get very close to others. Now that the snow is melting, she is able to get around the property much easier and loves to track squirrels, birds and wild turkeys. Her dislikes are baths, nail-clipping, and visits to the groomer. She is an excitable girl, often greeting guests at the end of the walkway to jump on their shins until they bend down and scratch her head. Lexi is a loving and loyal pet who is happiest on moms lap - after all, she is a "lap dog."
