Emergencies do happen and the PawSteps Veterinary Center team is available to help with these emergencies. We accept emergencies during normal business hours. Pets with emergency problems and those requiring urgent care will be seen as rapidly as possible.

Wildlife Emergencies/Inquiries

Remember, wildlife can transmit the rabies virus, a deadly disease to animals and people.

All Uninjured wildlife should be left as found as young animals may have been momentarily left alone by adult animals. More information may be found at MassWildlife.

A licensed professional wildlife specialist should be contacted regarding wildlife that is bothersome, that is injured or acting strangely. Alternatively, a wildlife rehabilitator such as Tufts Wildlife Clinic 508-839-7918 could be contacted so that wildlife may receive proper medical care if injured.
