Jeanne Pennell, Office Manager/Receptionist
Jeanne lives in Uxbridge with her husband, Bob, and daughter, Erin, along with their two cats, Mickey and Sassy. Jeanne is a graduate of Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She serves on the Board of Directors for Dog Orphans, a no-kill shelter in Douglas, MA and is also a board member of the Northbridge Education Foundation.
Karen Colonair, Veterinary Technician
Karen graduated from Becker College, Leicester, MA in 1988 with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. She resides in Sutton, MA with her husband, Brian, their two boys, Nickolas and Garrett and their 2 dogs, 3 cats and a guinea pig. Karen has been a veterinary technician for over 21 years and has worked at several veterinary hospitals in the Blackstone Valley.
Brianna Carey, Veterinary Assistant
Brianna is a graduate of Northbridge High School and is currently a pre-vet student at University of Rhode Island. She has been riding horses for 10 years and is a member of both the URI Equestrian Team and the Animal and Veterinary Science Club. Brianna shares her home with her cairn terrier named Molly and two gerbils named Ben and Jerry.
Paula Dryden, Veterinary Technician
Paula lives in Grafton with her husband, Paul and son, Joshua. She is the proud owner of Jake, a very sensitive pit bull and Shamu, her goldfish. Paula has 9 years experience in veterinary medicine and has worked alongside Dr. Sawyer for 4 years in both general practice and when he was at the Tufts Spay/Neuter Clinic. Besides her work at PawSteps Vet, she also plays a critical role as the Tufts Spay/Neuter Clinic Coordinator and as one of their Clinic Surgery Technicians. She is also a volunteer at the Tufts Wildlife Clinic and even finds time to help out with Dog Orphans, Inc. events. In her spare time, Paula likes to garden and go on cruises.
Meghan Daniels, Veterinary Assistant
Meghan joined PawSteps Veterinary Center in April of 2009 after previous work in pet grooming and childcare. Following her dream, she is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Holyoke Community College where she plans on graduating in 2011 with an Associates Degree. She resides in Grafton with her husband, Rick and her two boxers, Dolly and Lenny, along with her voluptuously handsome cat Cleveland. When she finds free-time from work and studying, Meghan enjoys taking her dogs for long walks and watching them swim in the local lake.
